Hellen van Rees at the international reception
Yesterday I attended Vauxhall Fashion Scouts international Reception,
Which showcases a lot of emerging talent and is one of my most favourite things to go to as you always meet the designers who are so passionate and fresh at this point of there carriers.
Now Hellen van Rees stood out to me for her usage of textiles within creativity,
Where she recycles fibres and shredding's from factories and heat presses the fibres with a mixture of pain staking hand weaving.
Then that is only the fabric made from this it will transform to digital print as well as some of the fabrics cut into garments which can all be seen below:
