Battle of the FUTURE trends
with the New season coming up,
and we already thinking of what the designers are coming up with for the runways for AW/11 Collections I ask will these be the next three key trends tat will be taking over the High st,
and which ones will dominate the High end?
BURLESQUE -
Above is a clip of Burlesque and have blogged about this one before,
With a mixture of Chicargo, Moulin Rogue and Devil wears Prada all roled into one,
Including a few of the actors etc...
This film is going to get the girls and the fashion crowed to see this one with Cher and Xtina co staring the film.
Ohh imagine the catfights in those trailers lol.
anyway Fashion related I just hope this wont land up becoming the same experience as when Moulin rougue got every girl going out in a corset to all the clubs,
that look got boring quick.
TRON- THE TIME OF THE FUTURE
With this one I can already see the likes of Gareth Pugh, Mark Fast,David Koma, pulling this of well among many others
and I recently just had to help out a designer with a set they where doing for a Band which was Tron themed this one defo wont go away in a hurry as it links so well with reflective services etc and sports wear leading me on to
the olympics -
which everyone is talking about and the country is getting ready for and already menswear is starting to take form in a looser trouser silhouette with the carrot jean soon replacing the skinny
lets watch this space and see where these progress,
