Regent Street Delight

On a Tuesday evening, walking through Regent Street is a changed experience from years passed, designer label have re-established their position in the grand forum of this west end shopping location.
My first location to visit was the Hunter store, with it wonderful front shop window displays, it store is definitive of its recent aimed audience, with festive inspired pieces and fashion colours ways, trendsetting boots and useful accessories for urban living.

But the store converted my perception and made me excited, with its retail concept is SuperDry. At first when you enter the store, you are greet by the friendly staff and their famous monogrammed t-shirts and hoodies, but this flag-store concept goes beyond that. Three floors of refined wooden gorgeousness with well executed fashion collections within its brand concept, making it diverse experience for a wider customer base.

It main brand, of casual wear is divided into men's and women's-wear;  a great space to relax and think about what pieces will be ideal for wardrobe, because there is so much to chose from, perfect for the discerning expert shopper and or fashionsta who can sweep through the store for key pieces that would complement one's figure.
But I have to tell you about a few exciting elements to this store, I know I have mentioned about the interior and the wooden panelling and flooring? Yes, but this description may make you think would cabin, but no, hold on. Yes there is a little feel of this, but with grand search lights and leather seating with its personal shopping areas and comfortable changing areas. This store is think specifically for all customers. Not to mention it divided men's and women's lines, that have been sectioned into fun beach casual wear, and informal day wear, and outdoor, but one of its clever ideas (or brand strategy) is incorporating, its collaboration with (British actor and DJ) Idris Elba within its men's wear range.

Now let me explain about the Idris Elba range called IDRIS, it is introduced with an beautiful film created by Rankin on a large video wall, as you enter the space within the menswear department on the lower ground floor. The space dedicated to the IDRIS collection encompasses a well thought out space incorporating the wooden theme that continues through the store, with its own changing rooms with their collaborator displayed on the wall inside each of the rooms.

The range its self is a well defined signature of refined fabrics and perfectly designed pieces, in each of range; starting with knitwear, hoodies and sweats, shirts, t-shirts, tops, trousers, and accessories and outwear (my favourite part of the collection with its Arctic all weather stylised coats.)
Michael (Mr.Quirky Gentleman) and myself tried on the Arctic coat, it is undoubtably a wonderful coat, but the waist fitting for either men or women was the only element that made myself and Michael frustrated. As it was over fitted in construction and this needs to be addressed in the future when this brand segment is designing such a coat. Apart from this element, through a male customer's eyes and from a female observation stand point and as fashion professionals; the collection has great pieces for all male body shapes and it is a success. The next season collection will be entering the store, very soon.

Working through observing the SuperDry collection as team Quirky, we saw a selection of pieces that were great are great must haves. One pieces that caught our attention was this horizontal strip jersey dress perfect for an day time event.

The Regent Street SuperDry store is a surprising little gem, with this metropolitan shopping mecca. I recommending the store, enter as a open heart full with curiosity, because you will be pieces that will rise you expectation and make your shopping experience will be worth while.
