scissor sisters rock isle of malta with MTV & underwater shoots in london

well as you may have read from my last blog that the next week was going to be a bit mental,

and yes people it truly was in the most fantastic way of course,

this blog today i want to talk to you about MTV music festivals, underwater shoots from london clothes show to isle of Malta we have it all... lol

London Clothes Show Live 2010

and underwater madness:

normally I dont like to backdate in my blogs but I have so much content for you guys this was one of my highlights...

though in the cloths show live they has a large water tank that had freezing temperatures with people in wet suits having lighting photographers and models all underwater yes you herd me right electricity and water mixed,

when i spoke to the technical team he explained the serious of safety they have to go under to make the cables waterproof and the cameras pressure proof etc.

but a campaign called Fresh H20 which has took pictures for the likes of keira Knightly and lilly cole among other fashion and hollywood ellite for a well deserved organization that supports making sure that developing countries get fresh water.

in fact what we never relies is how lucky we are to be born where we are where you can sit with a cup of tea and read my blog and not struggling for pure basic survival like clean water

also while I was browsing through the stands I came across this fantastic stand with africian clothing and jewelry that had the most cutest way of displaying there work on these Bratz style dolls that where all made to look African I just loved this Black barbie look so much I had to take a picture.

MTV- ISLE OF MALTA Music Festival

on wednesday the 30th June Il - fosos square Malta

the coming together of thousands of people across the mediterranean come together with one passion in mind to have a good time and celebrate the free music that was on show from MTV.

with a killer Line up from Kelis Starting the show in a bright and vibrant summer dress with a cute little military style cap (my pictures came out bad of this section of the show but click on MTV link to see pictures of kelis and other acts courtsy of MTV and photographer Rene Rossignaud --- http://www.isleofmtv.com/en/#/Gallery10)

remixing in old songs by maddona 'Holiday' and Major lazor 'pon de floor' with her new sounds from the album 'fleshtone' I couldn't stop jumping around to the sounds of kelis and like a good artist she left me wanting more

then with hits of past albums and new album ' Night work' came on 'Scissor Sisters'

who performance was truly breathtaking the way the band take to the stage and the enry they give of is fantastic unfortunately a lot of the locals at Malta was more 'Kid rock' fans and when speaking to them they did not really know of 'kelis' and ;'scissor sisters', which landed up to when kid rock came on he was on for over a hour and i started to feel like i was a the 'kid rock' show and everyone els was there to support him with the concert ending on David Guetta who really got the party vibe going.

my favorite bits of the scissor sisters where anna matronics outfit that she wore which was fab red sparkly eagle dress with a amazing cut which when she sung 'Tits on the radio' the front panel came of to show her bra great effect for stage and surprisingly looked tasteful

from the new album when they performed 'running out' the sweetest little dance of anna matroonic and jake sheers doing a little cartoon style run definitely worked up a sweet and look killer on stage scissor sisters is a band i have always been fond of but seeing them live you relly appreciate there sound in a whole new way as the instruments come that bit more to live and jake and anna are real like cute cartoon motion

as soon as i got back from Malta i was straight on itunes downloading the 'nightwork' alburm there third to date and it reminds me of the first time you here there album it has the same energy not stale and new sounds they have pulled it of again.
