Vivienne westwood Gold goes Gold
Rumored that this is the only collection that Vivienne Designs fully herself,
While design teams re work her Archive and her Husband designs the MAN label.
One thing for certain is the Westwood Red Label always is a platform for Vivienne's political views,
From saving the rainforest to freeing wrongly jailed people and currently the climate as well as her Spend less and DIY motto's either Love her or hate her she is always an import part of any Fashion Week.
As much as I would have loved to be at the show's Gold Label I had to wait to see the video of the show, so apologies for any bad screen grabs in picture quality.
However even through watching the video that was sent to me of the show,
From the atmospheric Music to the way the clothes stories changed through the show like scenes of a dramatic Opera, the Gold collection was certainly something Dramatic to watch and not for theatrics as one may expect, but down to the pure quality of the clothes themselves.
The Gold Collection had a certain feeling of the Best of Westwood,
Capturing the dramatic, the tailored, the bridal and the red carpet all in one show.
And the Tailoring like 'storm in a Teacup' for those of you who know those collections.
Below you can see my breakdown of the Collection which has been hard to edit out any pieces as this is one of Westwood's strongest collections:
Traditional Westwood style Prints below with Dramatic pleated hair
This Hooded Cardi below I just simply Loved in the soft pink hue yet screamed attitude rather then Girly:
Below a feeling of Westwood's Kings road capes mixed with 'Witches' in fabrics that scream luxury
Thois Blouse Below screams a fusion of elegance yet bold with this spot print in Purple
Bold Florals above to sheer Drama below:
The Finalle below which really captured the true Westwood essence

The make up Was certainly of the wall in true westwood style with long braided hair with fabric making a certain reference to a modern day collection from westwood's 'Witches' collections
And the Tailoring like 'storm in a Teacup' for those of you who know those collections.
