Crossing Into Darkness — Opening Night at Carl Freedman Gallery

I went to the opening of “Crossing Into Darkness,” a major group exhibition curated by Dame Tracey Emin at Carl Freedman Gallery in Margate. The show brings together artists who explore darkness as a place of transformation, vulnerability, and raw human experience. This video is a personal highlight reel from opening night — eight works that immediately pulled me in. The exhibition is huge and emotionally intense, and I was completely overwhelmed in the best way. There’s so much more I want to return to, and this is just a first look into the dark.
