Minnie mouse Loves LFW

One thing that always inspires me is Art, and when art and fashion come together that is something that either works really well or sometimes can lead to a bit of a disappointment.

However I was pleasantly surprised by a exhibition space yesterday that just stuck in my mind throughout the whole day of London Fashion Week day 1. Humorous and well designed this collection inspired by Minnie Mouse a number of unique designers ranging from Giles to Richard Nicoll to name a few teamed up with Disney this September to celebrate Cartoon Character Minnie Mouse's unique and memorable style of trademark bows and polka dots bringing up childhood nostalgia through fashion design.

What you see below is all one of pieces designed by selected European designers showcased over London Fashion Week to all the Fashion Buyers and Press in the home of London fashion Somerset House for London Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 Collections.

Each one of these desirable Minnie Mouse  Must Haves will be available on a Charity Auction available to any Disney/Fashion Fan on eBay to support the BFC/Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation, a British Fashion 
Council initiative to nurture relationships between the creative industries and maintain a 
reputation for fashion innovation.

Each designer was given a Minnie Mouse soft toy and delightfully posed for a picture in there studio with her showing this was the inspiration.

what excites me is that how one soft toy can inspire so many creatives in so many different ways.
