Spots Trend for Men of all Ages
Spots is a big trend right now dominating the shops,
However when you think of Spots and Fashion the first thing that comes in to mind in Comme Des Garcons and Henry Holand.
I love those bold statements that both Designers make with the simplicity of spots,
And lets not underrate the classic polka dot or Spot Artists such as Hirst have done a whole series of Art dedicated to the shape.
However if you are at a point in your life where you feeling you to old to wear the head to toe look in spots like Holland, or not the right build for the Japanese draped look the Comme Des Garcons play at,
or in my case sometimes when Im working I have certain days when I have to look smart and a head to toe Topman spot outfit may be what I want to wear, but looking like I have stepped out of a Dalston club just wont cut it down Mayfair.
Then why not try more Subtler approaches in how to use Spots and feel like you still keeping with the trends but showing your eye for style in the small details working for more men of different shapes, ages and professions.
Below A picture of me working Spots in subtle Spots for socks and collar details for work:
The Look is down to two simple ingredients,
first the shirt from Ted Baker that comes in Grey and Dark Blue.
and caters from a size 1 which is XS up to a size 7 which is XXXL if you not familiar with the brands sizing.
Below is the 'Saturday' Top in more detail from Ted Baker:
and the quite essential key ingredient for Men of all ages to add some humor and style to there outfit in a very easy way is Socks,
Matching the Collar of the shirt with its spot detail to some spotted socks I got from Primark of all places makes the outfit pop working the spot trend for any man in a fun and not over the top way.
